Country Road

Shades of green-brown and shades of blue
Of the trees and cloudy sky view

Lush green grass strewn with yellow
Grazing lazily on them cow & buffalo

Driving up and down the roads & bridges
Between the forest, meadows & ridges

Water gushing thru the cracks of the hill side
Leaves swaying merrily in chill breeze

Forest river dancing over the pebbles
Glistening in the shining sun's smiles

Country road taking us to a world far away
Patches of lakes all the way

Beauty so pure cannot be easily expressed
Only felt, treasured and forever cherished
